NEURC plans to conduct unscheduled inspections of nine distribution system operators (oblenergos) to see if they comply with power outage schedules for people. The relevant decisions were made at a meeting on December 27 on the basis of "

Vinnytsiaoblenergo, Zakarpattyaoblenergo, Ternopiloblenergo, Khmelnytskoblenergo, Lvivoblenergo, Poltavaoblenergo, DTEK Odesa Grids, DTEK Kyiv Grids and DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids will fall under extraordinary field inspections.

As noted, complaints from consumers concerned, in particular, unfair shutdown schedules. People said that OCPs turn off some objects constantly and for a long time, while others - much less, or do not apply restrictions to them at all.

Also, the appeals are related to the fact that oblenergos did not inform subscribers about power outages, including did not post information on their websites or did not update it.

Most applications were received in relation to DTEK Kyiv Grids - from four consumers. Other oblenergos were informed about possible violations by one or two clients.
