Igor Kolomoisky and Gennady Bogolyubov began to appeal in court the withdrawal of shares of Ukrnafta and Ukrtatnafta to state administration. Liga reports.. net with reference to the Decree of the Economic Court of the city of Kyiv, published in the Unified Register of Court Decisions.

The company's statement of claim, which was received by the Kyiv Economic Court on December 8, consisted of 18 points, including:.

demand to recover from state ownership in favor of Littop Enterprises 13.6% of the shares of Ukrnafta;

invalidate all decisions of the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of the company, which took place on November 7 and 9, 2022.

The company made it clear that it is not against the temporary seizure of Ukrnafta's property for defense needs, but requires confirmation of its ownership of Ukrnafta shares. As an option, she suggested considering the issue of providing Ukrnafta with mobilization tasks.

A similar lawsuit was filed by another Cypriot company, Ralix Services Ltd, but for a 7.67% stake in Ukrtatnafta.

She also asked to reclaim the shares of Ukrtatnafta from state ownership and to invalidate all decisions of the extraordinary general meeting of the company, held on November 7.

The application of Ralix Services was rejected on the same grounds - the combination of three claims in one lawsuit.

As Minister of Justice Denis Malyuski previously reported, the beneficiaries of Littop Enterprises Limited (as well as two other shareholders of Ukrnafta - Bordo Management Limited and Bridgemont Ventures Limited) are Igor Kolomoisky, Gennady Bogolyubov.

Ukrnafta is the largest oil producer in Ukraine. The company owns about 2,000 oil and gas wells. It also owns a network of 537 gas stations.

The company has three groups of shareholders: the state NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine (owned by 50% + share), the informal Privat group of Igor Kolomoisky and Gennady Bogolyubov (through a number of offshore companies - 42% of the shares), minority shareholders.

Kolomoisky-Bogolyubov's Privat group has been credited with controlling Ukrnafta since 2003.

Ukrtatnafta is the largest oil refinery in Ukraine, located in Kremenchug. More than 50% of Ukrtatnafta is owned by offshore companies of Igor Kolomoisky, Gennady Bogolyubov and Alexander Yaroslavsky. Another 43% of the plant's shares are owned by NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine.

In 2021, the company supplied the Ukrainian market with about 40% of gasoline and 14% of diesel. The design capacity of the plant is 18.6 million tons of fuel per year. In September of this year, the plant ranked fourth among Ukrainian companies most affected by Russian shelling..

Ukrnafta and Ukrtatnafta came under the control of the Ministry of Defense in November along with three other strategic enterprises of Ukraine - AvtoKrAZ, Motor Sich and Zaporizhtransformator.

After that, Ukrnafta and Ukrtatnafta were headed by Sergey Koretsky, the former CEO of the WOG filling station network. The general meeting of shareholders of Ukrnafta completely dissolved the board of the company and left Koretsky as its sole director.
