The youth national team of Ukraine won the second confident victory at the World Ice Hockey Championship

The youth ice hockey team of Ukraine (U-20) beat the national team of Poland in the second round of the 2022 Ice Hockey World Championship in division 1B. The match ended with the score 5:2.

The Blue-Yellows took the lead at the start of the match, but the opponents closed the gap in the second period. In the last 20 minutes, the Ukrainian national team survived the Poles with the pucks of Daniil Korzhiletsky and Pavel Atamanchuk.

For Ukrainians, this victory was the second in the world championship. With six points, Alexander Bobkin's wards hold the lead in the group.

The next match at the World Championship, the Ukrainian U-20 team will play on December 14 against the youth team of Estonia, which started at the 2022 World Cup with two defeats in extra and regular time from Poland (3:4 OT) and South Korea (1:2).
