Another reason for the rise in price of these fruits, in their opinion, was the fact that now an apple of late varieties is on sale, which has better quality characteristics than a summer apple.. In addition, the price increase was affected by rainy weather, due to which the harvesting of apples was stopped in the orchards..

According to the daily monitoring of the project, Ukrainian gardeners are currently shipping apples at 8-12 UAH/kg, which is an average of 25% more than a week earlier. At the same time, apples of the Gala and Golden varieties are in high demand.. Selling prices for these fruits are 10-14 UAH/kg.

But, despite the rise in price, now selling prices for apples in Ukraine actually correspond to the price level of last year..

According to experts, low prices for apples should not be expected this season.
