Today, the Security Service conducted an important operation on the activities of some sanctioned persons on the territory of Ukraine. This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky in his traditional evening address.

“I have repeatedly stressed: there will be no place for smugglers and criminal networks in Ukraine. Looks like some of them didn't understand. Well, they will understand,” he stressed..

The President added that customs officials who helped smugglers, including among its leadership, will be removed from their posts and will receive a legal response to all their illegal actions..

“As for those sanctioned persons who were found to have foreign citizenship, including Russian and Romanian, on the basis of the proposals of the SBU and in accordance with the norms of the law, I decided to terminate the citizenship of these persons,” Zelensky added..
