Law enforcers have detained two suspects in the case of an explosion at an ammunition exhibition in Chernihiv, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said in an evening address.

“Two people directly involved in the tragic incident in Chernihiv were detained on suspicion of committing a criminal offense.. The one who ordered the delivery of military weapons to a public city event. And the one who allowed the child to take up arms,” Zelensky said.

The President called on all representatives of local authorities and law enforcement agencies to ensure that there are no military weapons and other dangerous means at public events.
