From September 1, 78.1% of applicants for professional higher education and 69.4% for higher education are ready to study in full-time format. At the same time, two-thirds of them doubt the effectiveness of this form of organization of the educational process in the current conditions.. This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by the State Service for the Quality of Education of Ukraine.

It is noted that the majority of institutions still chose a mixed (full-time-remote) format of work. Eight out of ten of both students and teachers expressed their desire to start the 2022/2023 academic year online.

Distance learning is chosen by educational institutions of the eastern and southern regions. Western, central and partially northern regions of Ukraine are leaning towards distance learning.

About 24,000 respondents from 56 vocational higher education institutions and 46 higher education institutions took part in the survey, which was conducted from August 5 to August 15, 2022.
