The next round of the Athletics Diamond League took place in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Ukrainian high jumper Andriy Protsenko won the gold medal after using only one attempt each to clear 2.15m, 2.20m and 2.24m.

Qatari Mutaz Essa Barshim took silver, and American Juvon Garrison won bronze.

In the finals of the triple jump competition, Ukrainian Marina Bekh-Romanchuk in the best attempt showed a result of 14.31 meters and took third place.

Yulimar Rojas, Venezuelan world record holder, won the gold (15.31 m). Silver was taken by Jamaican Shanika Thomas (14.64).

Note that Protsenko is a native of the Kherson region, and met the beginning of a full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation in the occupation.

Protsenko was first in Kherson, and then left for a settlement in the Kherson region, where he spent 40 days. The athlete still managed to leave the occupied territories with his wife and two children.
