Due to the military invasion of Russia, not all schools in Ukraine will be able to conduct full-time education. The safety of the educational process is an important factor when choosing a particular form of education.. So, in Odessa, only 27% of schools were suitable for offline learning, writes Channel 24..

Are schools in Odessa ready for the new academic year?.

It is reported that only 33 out of 122 schools (27%) in Odessa are suitable for full-time education and have equipped shelters.

This contrasts significantly with other cities of Ukraine, for example, in Lviv this figure is 84%, and in general in the Odessa region - 75%.

Online or offline: how Odessa schoolchildren will be trained.

From September 1, a new academic year will begin in Odessa. Education will take place in a mixed form - parents need to decide how their child will study, in person or remotely, and notify the school management.

" We will decide the issue of full-time school attendance by children together and each separately for his child.. The education system of the city will be ready for full-time, blended and distance learning,"

It is noted that due to the threat of Russian rocket attacks, the vast majority of parents (95%) choose the option of online learning.. However, there are those children whose parents have agreed to offline education.. They will be merged into new classes.

Buinevich stressed that some of the subjects will be transferred to distance learning, and the time spent by students in school will be reduced as much as possible..

Distance learning at school: what has changed.

This form of education remains relevant. A whole platform for distance education has been developed in Odessa.

Distance learning will be organized on the basis of the following educational institutions:.

Grades 2, 3 and 4 - gymnasium No. 118;

Grade 5 - lyceum №122;

6th, 7th, 8th and 9th grades - lyceum №81;

Grades 10 and 11 - Lyceum No. 5.

Recall that in Dnipro and Kryvyi Rih, education in schools will be remote from September 1. The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, Deputy Head of the Defense Council of the Dnipropetrovsk Region Nikolay Lukashuk explained that under the current conditions, when five to 10 air raid alerts are heard a day, it will be difficult for children to go down to the basements every time.
