The British Ministry of Defense has published an up-to-date map of hostilities in Ukraine as of Tuesday, August 23.

A difficult situation remains in the east of Ukraine, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine are holding back the pressure of the occupying forces and do not allow them to advance in the Avdiivka and Bakhmut directions. Over the past day, Ukrainian defenders repelled enemy attacks near Soledar, Kodema, Krasnogorovka, Pervomaisky and a number of other settlements.

In the Bakhmut direction, the invaders carried out fire damage near Bakhmut, Mayorsk, Soledar, Zaitsevoy, Shumy and Kodema. The enemy tried to conduct reconnaissance in force in the area of \u200b\u200b\u200b\u200bthe settlement of Zaitsevo, as well as to conduct assault operations near Soledar and Kodema, but had no success and retreated.
