Ukrainian diver Oleksiy Sereda became the winner of the European Aquatics Championship in Rome.

The 16-year-old athlete took first place in the 10-meter platform. Sereda scored a total of 493.55 and was 34.55 points ahead of the nearest pursuer, which was Noah Williams from the UK.

For Aleksey Sereda, this is the second individual gold at the adult European Championships in his career. At the age of 13, he won in the same form at the continental tournament in Kyiv in 2019. Sereda also has a gold medal in the mixed doubles at the 2021 European Championships in Budapest.

The European Aquatics Championships in Rome has already ended. The Ukrainian diving team won seven medals - one gold, five silver and one bronze.
