The National Bank of Ukraine announced what the most positive forecast for the hryvnia could be, and under what conditions it will be possible to implement it. This was announced by the head of the National Bank Kirill Shevchenko in a column for LB. ua.

From 2022 to 2024, the purchasing power of the hryvnia will almost halve. This is a positive forecast, which will come true if the National Bank manages to turn the planned initiatives into reality and take a number of decisions to support the economy.

In particular, the NBU has drawn up a schedule of issues: the purchase of government bonds by the end of this year in volumes of up to UAH 30 billion per month, in 2023 - the issue volume is halved, and in 2024 - it stops altogether.
