President Volodymyr Zedlensky, in a video message on the evening of August 20, spoke about the preparations for the Crimean Platform, the visits of true friends of Ukraine and warned about the possible cruel actions of the Russian Federation.

" Ahead is the day of our flag and the day of our independence. Ahead - honoring the veterans of the war for the freedom of Ukraine and the Crimean platform - this year is really special. This year, literally in the air of Crimea, one can feel that the occupation there is temporary, and Ukraine is returning.

President does not exclude that Russia may resort to violent actions this week.

" This is our enemy. But in any other week during these six months, Russia did the same thing all the time - nasty and cruel. One of the key tasks of the enemy is to humiliate us, Ukrainians, devalue our capabilities, our heroes, spread despondency, fear, spread conflicts, so it is important not to give in to this hostile pressure for a minute, not to overthink ourselves, not to show weakness,"

Zelensky notes that in order to win, Ukrainians will still have to endure a lot of pain, but Ukrainians can already rightfully feel proud of themselves, their state and their heroes.
