On August 13, at about 15:40, several loud explosions were heard in the occupied Melitopol. The mayor of the city, Ivan Fedorov, hinted that resistance forces were involved in them, once again blowing up objects with enemy equipment. In the evening, the official clarified that the explosions occurred near the local military registration and enlistment office and not far from the forest park.. He stated this to Channel 24.

“The explosions had two epicenters. The first one is next to the city military enlistment office and now the lower part of the city is completely blocked. No one is allowed in. The second is the Melitopol forest park on the way to Zaporozhye. It was clearly reported that a large amount of equipment was brought to the forest park. Now it is not known exactly what was damaged, but the enemy positions were hit, ”Fyodorov noted..

The mayor of Melitopol added that although the residents of the city are in dire circumstances, they continue to support Ukraine and even at the threat of their own lives refuse to cooperate with the Russians..

“Only 10% are ready to tell the Russians with weapons who can support the Russian Federation,” Fedorov said.

Earlier it was reported that an attempt was made on the life of a high-ranking collaborator in Melitopol.

Why the aggressor failed the first stage of the invasion and failed to succeed in the second? What tasks should our army solve at the third stage in order to oust the Russians from Ukraine? What are the consequences of a truce to which Putin will persuade Ukraine? The answers to these questions and the forecast for the coming months can be found in the article by Major General, Head of the Center for the Study and Counteraction of Hybrid Threats Sergey Savchenko “Expecting powerful fire training and counteroffensive? It will not happen. Everything has already begun"
