A day earlier, the network was stirred up by a post about the rescue of the captured defenders of Azovstal, which told about the preparation of the invaders for a show trial of them. Later it became known that the account that spread the post had nothing to do with the families of Ukrainian defenders.. Moreover, they urged not to distribute messages published by unverified accounts, including this one..
But the very next day, the Association's account was deleted.. As the bride of one of the defenders of Azovstal, Anna Naumenko, said in a commentary to Channel 24, in the morning the page simply disappeared.
“We posted yesterday a response post to this widespread news about lynching. We got over a thousand subscribers in one moment. And then, literally this morning, the page was deleted. I am more than sure that this is the work of those 17 million subscribers who were on that channel,” Naumenko said..
It is possible that subscribers of the account complained about the page, which dispersed information about the “trial” of the invaders. Or the account was deleted due to the fact that it immediately had a large number of subscribers.
Relatives of the defenders of Azovstal have already applied to the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine with a request to contribute to the restoration of the page. The department said that they had already transferred the information to Meta and were waiting for an official response..
Recall that this is not the first time that Instagram has been involved in a scandal related to the war unleashed in our country by Russia.. Earlier, the social network hid the hashtag #russiaisaterroriststate and related publications.. The hashtag was launched online after the aggressor country launched a missile attack on a shopping center in Kremenchug.
