On Sunday, August 7, Russian troops fired on the Nemyshlyansky, Industrial and Novobavarsky districts of Kharkov from Belgorod, presumably from the S-300 air defense system, Oleg Sinegubov, head of the Kharkiv OVA, said on Telegram.

In the Industrial and Nemyshlyansky districts, civilian and critical infrastructure was destroyed as a result of shelling. In the Novobarsky district, a rocket hit the ground near one of the parks.

The occupiers also fired at Kharkiv, Izyum, Chuguev, Bogodukhovsky districts of the Kharkiv region.

In the Bogodukhovsky district there were fires in the fields with wheat. Outbuildings burned in Chuguyevsky district as a result of shelling. Private house on fire in Izyumsky district.

Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelensky instructed the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny to consider the possibility of strengthening the air defense of the Kharkiv region.
