The head of the Anti-Corruption Center Vitaly Shabunin said that he was fired from the Center for Innovation and Development of Defense Technologies of the Ministry of Defense, where he worked for the past two months.
According to Shabunin, the dismissal was initiated by Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov, who did not like the question about the lack of a modern IT logistics system in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“I note that my public question was preceded by two months of attempts to convince the Ministry of Defense not in public. Unfortunately, the petty revenge of the minister ended my story at the Center,” Shabunin writes..
The activist thanked his colleagues for their work, noting among the key achievements of the Center the right to develop and amend key NATO standards regarding the interaction of command and control systems.

The day before, Shabunin published a public appeal on Facebook regarding the need to introduce an IT logistics system in the Ukrainian army.. The military cannot use it without a “regulation” from the Ministry of Defense.
“It is superfluous to explain the critical importance of efficient logistics in modern warfare.. Obviously, logistics built on paper cannot be effective in the 21st century,” he wrote.. However, the system has not been launched in Ukraine so far.
