The command of the Ukrainian Air Force reported on Facebook that today at 17:00 Russian invaders launched a missile strike from the Caspian Sea region. Used strategic bombers Tu-95 (Tu-160).

In total, eight X-101 (X-555) type cruise missiles were fired across the territory of Ukraine in the direction of the central, southern and western regions of Ukraine.

Six of the eight missiles were shot down by air defense systems and one was shot down by a Ukrainian Air Force fighter.
