The UN structure - the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), - in the coming days will announce a tender for the purchase of equipment for grain storage in Ukraine. According to Mikhalchuk, as a result of Russian aggression, 14% of Ukrainian granaries are damaged or destroyed, 10% are located in the territories occupied by Russia. Of the available storage facilities, 35% are filled with last year's crops and oilseeds, which are awaiting export.

The cost of the FAO project, aimed at helping Ukrainian farmers to maintain the expected harvest in July-August and ensure the export of key agricultural commodities to international markets, is estimated at $17 million.

Earlier it was reported that 17 vessels have already been loaded in the ports of Odessa and Chornomorsk, of which 10 are ready for shipment.
