The 2022 World Games ended in Birmingham, USA, where Ukraine showed the best result in its history.

On the last day of the competition, Ukrainians won six medals in two sports.

At the same time, five out of six awards were won in Thai boxing.. Igor Lyubchenko (up to 63.5 kg), Oleg Primachev (up to 91 kg) and Anastasia Kulinich (up to 48 kg) became champions there.. Alexander Efimenko finished with silver (up to 71 kg), and Vladislav Mikitas won bronze (up to 57 kg).

In artistic gymnastics, the men's team, which included Stanislav Kukuruza, Yury Savka, Yury Push and Taras Yarush, won a bronze medal in group exercises.

Ukraine took the final third place in the medal standings and showed its best result in the history of performances at the World Games. Athletes have 45 medals - 16 gold, 12 silver and 17 bronze.

This is a record for Ukraine in terms of the number of awards in total, as well as the best result in gold medals in the history of performances.
