In the fifth round of the European Women's Basketball Championship U-20 (Division B), the Ukrainian team defeated the Albanian team - 79:52.

The team of Evgeny Murzin marked their advantage over the players of the Albanian national team from the first minutes of the game, increasing their advantage with every quarter.

This is the first victory of Ukrainians in the tournament. The Blue-Yellows lost the first three games: Turkey (45:88), Switzerland (44:67), Greece (56:82).

Now the Ukrainians will fight in the second round of EuroBasket U-20 for 9-18 places. At the second stage, the teams of group A will play with the teams of group B - Georgia and Armenia. The results of the first stage will be taken into account.

The Ukrainians will play the next game tomorrow, July 14, against Georgia. The match starts at 19:45.
