The new Ambassador of Ukraine to Poland Vasily Zvarych officially began his mission in Warsaw. During a ceremony at the Belvedere Palace, the diplomat presented his credentials to President Andrzej Duda.
“All the neighbors of Poland, with whom we cooperate, have their ambassadors in Poland,” Jakub Kumoch, chairman of the Bureau of International Policy of the President of Poland, commented on the current event, Polskie Radio reports..
“The Ambassador is an experienced diplomat. He has been in Warsaw for many years. Speaks excellent Polish. He understands the situation well.. We understand each other well. I am sure we will have good cooperation. Just as the Ukrainian authorities are cooperating well with the Polish Ambassador Bartosz Cichocki, who knows Ukraine well and also speaks Ukrainian well,” Jakub Kumoch added..

Vasily Zvarych replaces Ambassador Andrey Deshchitsa, who has held this post since 2014. The new ambassador was appointed on February 8, but due to Russian aggression against Ukraine, he arrived in Poland only in June.
