Gutzeit announced that the start of the tournament is scheduled for August 23, 2022.

The minister also spoke about the regulations in case of air raid warnings during the matches of the championship of Ukraine. In the event of an air raid signal, matches will be suspended, and players, coaches and the entire staff will quickly go to shelters.

" We agreed to develop, together with the Ukrainian Football Association, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Economy, the National Police, the State Emergency Service, the regional and Kyiv city military administrations, the procedure for organizing and holding competitions under martial law. While we are coordinating the details, I can say for sure: the matches will be held on the territory of Ukraine, without spectators, with the permission of local military administrations and with the obligatory observance of all safety rules.

Safety first! Stadiums must have a shelter equipped according to all standards. During air raids, matches will be stopped - football players, coaches and the entire staff must quickly go to the shelter. The presence of representatives of local military administrations, medical teams and the State Emergency Service is mandatory.

It is very important to restore big football, like other national championships, in Ukraine. We continue to compete and cheer. We keep fighting and winning. Despite everything, Ukrainian sport and the will to win on all fronts cannot be stopped. We stand firmly on the sports front. We constantly prove that Ukrainians are a nation of winners! "

Recall that last season in all football leagues of Ukraine was completed ahead of schedule without determining the champion and prize-winners due to the full-scale invasion of Russian invaders.
