Last week brought significant changes in wholesale prices for petroleum products. On June 24, diesel fuel was traded in the range of UAH 51-62/l, while gasoline was offered in the range of UAH 48-55/l. This is evidenced by the monitoring data of the A-95 Consulting Group, Enkorr reports..
Most traders say that the market has reached a certain minimum equilibrium and, accordingly, the price of wholesale lots has gone down..
“Now buyers are already starting to bargain, demanding a lower price, although they took it without talking a week ago,” one of the traders noted..
Gasoline lost 1-2 UAH/l in a week. Here, the trading range was 50–54 UAH/l. Mini-refinery gasolines were offered at 48-49 UAH/l in the central region and 52 UAH/l in the eastern regions.
Like last week, the lowest diesel prices can be found in the southern region - at 51-54 UAH/l, and since June 17, the price has lost 1-2 UAH/l.
Western region ranks second in price competition. Here, diesel can be purchased in the range of 51-56 UAH/l, which is also lower than prices a week ago by 1-2 UAH/l. Both autonorms and wagon lots are available. The cost of the latter is at the level of 68,000 UAH/t.
In the northern and central regions, the price tags for GP dropped 3-4 UAH/l per week, and diesel was traded at 55-60 UAH/l on Friday.
Diesel fuel is consistently more expensive in the eastern regions of the country, it can be bought for 58-62 UAH/l. But this also indicates a decrease in prices by 3-4 UAH/l.
The A-95 Consulting Group notes that for the first time since the outbreak of hostilities, wholesale prices for gasoline and diesel fuel have fallen below retail prices, which indicates a gradual filling of the market.
