The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted Resolution No. 678 dated June 10, 2022, which approved the Procedure for the implementation of a pilot project for issuing a passport of a citizen of Ukraine and a passport of a citizen of Ukraine for traveling abroad to citizens of Ukraine who are outside Ukraine.

The pilot project provides that the acceptance of documents for issuing a passport of a citizen of Ukraine and a foreign passport for citizens of Ukraine located outside our country will be carried out by a separate subdivision of the state enterprise " The list of states where documents will be accepted for issuing passports of a citizen of Ukraine will be determined by the State Migration Service of Ukraine in agreement with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Decree enters into force 15 days after its publication.. The implementation of the project at the suggestion of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the State Migration Service will take place within two years,"
