Fedorov noted that recently Russia has been constantly attacking Ukraine on the cyber front - state resources, websites, the banking system, the media. These attacks were repelled, the state’s cyber resilience grew, and cyber specialists worked and created value. With the start of a full-scale invasion of Russia, Ukrainians began not only to defend themselves, but also united in Ukrainian cyber troops.
“Therefore, this award, first of all, is for the entire cyber community and volunteers who today, together with us, are waging the world's first cyber war.. While our brave warriors were arguing that the so-called “second army of the world” are ordinary marauders and murderers, our IT community has refuted the myth of Russia as the strongest cyberstate.
What the world is watching now has no analogues. This is a new level of experience not only for us, but also for other countries. We study it together and intuitively find solutions to help counter this threat,” Fedorov said..
Recall that Ukrainian cyber experts announced that they managed to hack the Russian video hosting Rutube in just two days.. They call this hack the biggest victory in the cyberwar against Russia.
