Kazakhstan is not going to use its peacekeeping troops in the Russian war against Ukraine. Negotiations are not even being held on this issue, said Deputy Minister of Defense of Kazakhstan Sultan Kamaletdinov.

According to a representative of the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan, the use of peacekeeping troops is possible only if there is a resolution of the UN Security Council.

“Based on this resolution, the head of state comes up with a proposal before the parliament. And only after the approval of the parliament, the use of armed forces is possible.. But now this issue is not even considered.. Negotiations are not being held,” Kamaletdinov said..
