Russian troops shelled 10 settlements in the Donetsk region over the past day, reports the National Police in a telegram.

" At least 33 civilian objects were destroyed - residential buildings, children's health facilities, a school, life support facilities,"

Over the past day, Russian invaders hit such settlements as Mariupol, Lyman, Avdeevka, Pokrovsk, Seversk, Svyatogorsk, Yarovaya, Novonikolaevka, Ocheretino, Shevchenko.

“The enemy fired at the civilian population from aviation, Grad multiple launch rocket systems, tanks, heavy artillery, as well as cruise missiles,” the National Police reported..

The police opened criminal proceedings under Art.. 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Earlier, the head of the Donetsk OVA Pavel Kirilenko said that since the beginning of the invasion of the Russian army into Ukraine, 286 civilians have died in the Donetsk region. 890 people were injured.
