Former footballer Anatoliy Tymoshchuk made his first public appearance since the start of Russia's military invasion of Ukraine.
The day before, the ex-captain of the Ukrainian national team took part in the celebration of the victory of Zenit in the Russian Championship. Tymoshchuk smiled and took joint photos with teammates.

Recall that 43-year-old Anatoly Tymoshchuk is a native of Lutsk and a legend of the Ukrainian national team, for which he played 144 matches. He is also known for his performances for Volyn, Shakhtar, Zenit and Bayern.. Since 2017, Tymoshchuk has been working as a coach in the St. Petersburg club.
After the start of the war, the ex-footballer did not leave the Russian club and did not support Ukraine in the fight against the occupier, while his father joined the defense.
