In Kyiv, as a result of enemy shelling, residents of more than 200 houses lost their homes completely or temporarily, said in an interview with ZN. UA Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration Mykola Povoroznyk, with whom Alla Eremenko spoke. He also spoke about cases of looting in the capital.
“Residents of more than 200 residential buildings were affected - they lost their housing in whole or in part. As far as we know, they live with relatives and friends.. We are dealing with this problem. There are about a dozen houses where structural elements are damaged. However, the majority, as previously established by the commission with the participation of representatives of the Kyiv City State Administration, is subject to restoration.. But their inhabitants need to be temporarily relocated. This is already billions of hryvnias. There are city, state programs, and we are working to quickly restore people's housing,” said Povoroznik.
In addition, according to him, about 150 kindergartens, schools, hospitals were damaged in the capital.. At the same time, until the full end of hostilities, it is impossible to say exactly how much money will be needed to compensate and restore buildings..
At the same time, Povoroznyk noted that block housing, which, for example, is being installed in the Lviv region, is an outlet for temporarily displaced persons, but not for Kyiv..
Speaking about looting in the capital, Povoroznik noted that in the first days of the active war there were several such egregious cases, so security was strengthened.
“But it is really the citizens themselves who stop looting, even if there are two of them left on the 16-storey entrance. I can assure you that the crime situation in the capital is under control. And the key to this is the self-organization of citizens, and mutual assistance, ”summed up the deputy head of the KSCA.
