The check meeting will be dedicated to supporting Ukraine in a full-scale war, which was unleashed on the territory of our country by the Russian Federation on February 24.

Representatives of Ukraine and Norway will play several matches, in which four chess players from each side will take part. The leader of the Ukrainian national team will be Vasily Ivanchuk - the former number two in the world ranking. But the current world champion Magnus Carlsen will perform in the Norwegian national team.

The match Ukraine - Norway will be held online with a time control of 10 minutes + 10 seconds per move. The fight starts at 14:00 Kyiv time.

During the meeting, viewers will be able to donate funds for Ukrainians affected by Russia's armed aggression.
