Ukraine is ready to exchange Russian prisoners of war for safe passage through the humanitarian corridor for civilians and defenders of Mariupol, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said during a joint briefing with European Council President Charles Michel in Kyiv.

Therefore, for the sake of our people, both military and civilian, we are ready for any exchange format. This is as true as the fact that I am ready for dialogue over the past three years regarding the end of the war with the President of the Russian Federation,” Zelensky said..
The President admitted that he does not know when we will be able to unblock Mariupol. But, according to him, no one is going to surrender to the enemy.
