Russian invaders now control only a couple of villages in the south of the Nikolaev region, they are almost gone here, said the head of the Regional State Administration Vitaly Kim in an interview with journalist Dmitry Gordon.

“We have almost none of them left in our region - Snegirevka and several villages in the south. But due to the fact that these freaks can’t do anything, they fire at our city remotely from the Tornadoes in order to sow panic among people, inflict maximum damage on civilians, ”says Kim.

The head of the Regional State Administration considers the information about the possible offensive of the invaders to Nikolaev to be fake.

“They throw fakes, they say, we are going here, we have 1,000 tanks, 700 rocket launchers, 5,000 people, but they are not there. On the contrary, they are relocating, licking their wounds, they no longer abandon equipment - they are taken out to repair. They dig in, they are afraid, they sit in the trenches and wait for us to attack them.. They fight vilely, they beat civilians,” he added..

As a result of enemy shelling in Nikolaev, the building of the regional state administration was badly damaged, many hospitals and schools were destroyed. Of the military facilities, the occupiers got into only one barracks. During this time, from a third to a half of the inhabitants left the city.

More than two thousand buildings were destroyed or damaged in the region, but the destruction is not as serious as in Mariupol, Bucha or Irpen. According to Kim, there are more damaged housing that can be rebuilt than completely destroyed.
