Pop stars like Madona, Miley Cyrus and Elton John will headline a global fundraising event the EU and Canada are hosting for Ukraine on April 9 in Warsaw.

The fundraising will take place as part of the online event "

An event to be held on the same day co-organized by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Its goal is to raise funds and mobilize support more widely to meet the needs of internally displaced persons and refugees.
