The goalkeeper of Dynamo Kiev and the Ukrainian national team Georgy Bushchan shared his opinion about Russian athletes expelled from almost all international competitions after the invasion of the occupation forces of the Russian Federation on Ukrainian lands.

" Understand, we lost everything because of you! You are now sitting at home and holding your " And we are in conditions of war - someone is in relatively normal conditions, and someone is just in terrible.

And we can’t work, we can’t bring the joy of sports victories to the people of Ukraine. When the European Football Championship was held, the squares in Ukrainian cities were crowded with people. With our game we gave people happiness and joy. Today there are no confrontations between Dynamo, Shakhtar, Zorya, Lviv and Chornomorets. Today we are all together. This also applies to other sports..

It makes no sense to talk to Russian athletes. I know one hundred percent that they are forbidden to talk about this topic.. I am proud that I am Ukrainian, because I can say and do whatever I want. We are a free people. And the Russians are driven people. They don't have freedom of speech, they can't even think otherwise. That's the only thing I feel sorry for them. God forbid someone go through what the Ukrainians are living now,"

Earlier it was reported that Bushchan, together with other players of the Ukrainian national team, created a fund for humanitarian and military assistance.. Also, Dynamo players purchased a car for the reconnaissance battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
