Former Shakhtar Donetsk goalkeeper and current Veres Rivne head coach Yuriy Virt sold his gold medal for winning the 2008/09 UEFA Cup with the Pitmen.

The auction went on for three days.. The award was sold at a charity auction for 220,000 hryvnias, the Veres press service reports.. All collected funds will be transferred to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
