Honored coach of Ukraine, former head of the UAF National Teams Committee Myron Markevich spoke about the ban on Ukrainian athletes to stand next to the Russians and their symbols at the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing.
The corresponding commentary was given by the ex-coach of Metalist Kharkiv and Dnipro to Meta-Ratings.
" Everyone should be a patriot of their country and clearly know where a friend is, who is an enemy.
Therefore, what kind of general photos, fraternization with the Russians can we talk about if this is an aggressor country that kills your brothers and sisters, seized your lands. This can't be forgiven.
And the best response of Ukrainian athletes to the intrigues of the enemy would be their victories in competitions of the highest level,"
It should be noted that 45 athletes competing in 12 disciplines will go to the capital of the Celestial Empire to defend the honor of Ukraine.
