The Analytical Center Europe without Barriers, in cooperation with the Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation, conducted a sociological study to find out the number of Ukrainians who crossed the border since 2017. The final data is posted on the Europe Without Barriers website.

The survey found that 34% of Ukrainians crossed the state border at least once in the last four years..

The most popular type of travel for Ukrainian citizens is air travel - 52%. Another 40% noted that they crossed the land border with Poland, about 17% crossed the land border with the Russian Federation, another 13% crossed the land border with Hungary.

Land borders with other states were crossed by less than 10% of Ukrainians.

Only about 3% crossed the line of demarcation with the occupied CADLO or the administrative border with the occupied Crimea.
