The Ukrainian men's national chess team won first place at the European Championship.

In the ninth round, Ukrainians beat the Armenian national team with a score of 3: 1. The national team was represented by Anton Korobov, Andrey Volokitin, Yuri Kuzubov, Kirill Shevchenko and Vladimir Onischuk.

France, Poland, Spain, Azerbaijan and Russia finished behind Ukraine.

France - 14 (207.5).

Poland - 13 (192.5).

Spain - 13 (190.0).

Azerbaijan - 12 (224.0).

Russia - 12 (206.5).

Women's team of Ukraine finished fourth out of five teams at the European Championship.
