Manchester City and France defender Benjamin Mendy faces additional rape charges in two counts.

According to the Daily Mail, the total number of episodes in the footballer's case has grown to six.

Back in August, Mendy was charged with four counts of rape between October 2020 and August 2021.. Charges brought by four women over 16.

Mendy has played in two games this season, and since the summer was suspended from the first team of Man City, after which he was arrested. A Frenchman is held in the HMP Altcourse prison in Liverpool.

Note that his position in the English club is played by Ukrainian Alexander Zinchenko.
