Ivano-Frankivsk City Court found a local resident guilty of knowingly false reporting about an impending attempt on the life of the President of Ukraine and sentenced him to imprisonment for three years and one month. In court, the man pleaded guilty and explained that he only wanted to check the readiness of the president's security. He also believed that the security staff needed to be increased..
