Reconstruction of the fields of the Metalist children's football academy has been completed in Kharkiv. This was announced by the director of the Department of Family, Youth and Sports of the Kharkiv City Council Alexey Chubarov.

He recalled that this year the OSK Metallist passed into the communal property of the territorial community of Kharkov, thanks to which the city had the opportunity to improve the infrastructure of the complex. So, today the fields of the children's football academy have already been repaired, the spider-camera (spider-camera) has been returned to the stadium, and within the next year the seats and covering in the stands will be replaced..

He also recalled that the secretary of the Kharkiv City Council Igor Terekhov initiated the inclusion of Kharkiv in the list of candidate cities for the match for the UEFA Super Cup 2025.

“If we receive such a right, it will be a historic event for Kharkiv and another incentive for the development of infrastructure in the city as a whole, as it was before EURO 2012,” said Oleksiy Chubarov.
