The Cabinet of Ministers on September 29 dismissed Maksim Sokolyuk from the post of head of the State Migration Service of Ukraine.

Temporarily acting as the head of the Migration Service will be his first deputy Natalia Naumenko.

Sokolyuk was appointed chairman of the State Migration Service in December 2015. Prior to that, he was the first deputy head of the service and performed his duties.

Until August 2020, the chairman of the Migration Service had two deputies, and then another third was introduced to work on digital protection of digital transformations and digitalization..

On September 1, it became known that the Verkhovna Rada is going to dismiss three members of the government: Defense Minister Andriy Taran, Minister of Social Policy Marina Lazebnaya and Deputy Prime Minister - Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine Oleg Urusky.
