During a search in an apartment in the Central City district, law enforcement officers found a crypto farm, which consisted of video cards, motherboards and power supplies.

The electricity meter was in working order at the time of the search and was connected to the power grid. To reduce costs, the citizen with the help of a large magnet blocked the work of the counter.

Everything seized is sent for examination. The amount of damage caused is established.

On this fact, criminal proceedings have been opened under h. 1 st. 188-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (theft of electrical energy by its unauthorized use without metering devices).

The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of restriction of freedom for up to three years.
