Former undisputed world boxing champion in two weight divisions Evander Holyfield returns to the ring after a 10-year hiatus. 58-year-old American in Hollywood held an exhibition duel with Brazilian ex-UFC light heavyweight champion Vitor Belfort.
The battle format involved eight rounds of two minutes each, but it all ended incredibly quickly.. From the starting bell, Belfort dominated the ring, and at the end of the first round knocked down Holyfield. Evander managed to get up, but again powerfully missed the head and body.
As a result, the referee was forced to stop the fight in order not to risk Holyfield's health.. Thus, Belfort defeated the boxing legend by knockout in just a minute and 44 seconds.. Interestingly, the fight was commented on by former US President Donald Trump.
Holyfield fought his last fight in 2011. He is the only four-time world heavyweight champion in professional boxing history.. He managed to win the title of absolute world champion in two weight categories: first heavyweight and heavyweight.
Holyfield has 57 fights, 44 wins (29 by knockout), 10 defeats and two draws. Another fight was declared invalid.
