According to the director of the Skovoroda Museum Natalia Mitsay, the idea of \u200b\u200bcreating a fountain based on the drawing of the philosopher arose a long time ago. At first they wanted to install it in the city of Kharkov.

“We even did a survey to find out how Kharkiv residents feel about the Skovoroda fountain being installed on the square.. But now we have the support of patrons who help us a lot, and today we are hatching an idea with them - to install a fountain on the territory of the museum, - said Mitsay. - This will be the decoration of our museum. There are already architectural developments for the fountain, Kiev architects are engaged in the project. We hope that in 2022 we will see this fountain on our territory ”.

Also during the meeting, its participants examined objects on the territory of the museum, which are planned to be restored for the 300th anniversary of Skovoroda: an oak tree, a manager's house and a pantry.
