The strongest tennis player of Ukraine Elina Svitolina made it to the quarterfinals of the prestigious WTA 1000 tournament in Miami (USA).

In the 1/8 final match, the Ukrainian defeated the former second racket of the planet, and now the tenth number in the world ranking, Czech Petra Kvitova.

The match turned out to be very intense and lasted almost 2.5 hours. Elina lost her first game crushingly, but made a comeback, winning two subsequent sets. As a result, the game ended with a score of 2: 6, 7: 5, 7: 5 in favor of the Ukrainian.
