National quarantine in Ukraine is still needed, but it is important not to allow the situation with COVID-19 to deteriorate. This was announced yesterday, March 17, on the TSN TV channel by the Minister of Health Maxim Stepanov..
Commenting on the situation when most of the regions ended up in the orange quarantine zone, Stepanov said: “I don’t think we need a nationwide strict quarantine right now.. If more attention is paid to the quarantine in effect in the region in order to prevent the situation from reaching the red level "
Stepanov stressed the importance of compliance with the rules established by the Ministry of Health for quarantine levels.
According to Stepanov, the outbreak of coronavirus in Ukraine may last until the end of April.
