In Myanmar, police fired on protesters, killing at least 10 people

Protests of those who disagree with the seizure of power by the military continue in Myanmar. Security forces used tear gas and firearms. On February 28, Myanmar police opened fire on protesters.

Rallies of those who disagree with the military regime were held in several cities of the country. People built barricades and defended themselves with shields.

The security forces used tear gas, as well as rubber bullets and firearms. According to doctors, at least 10 people died.

Myanmar Now news agency reported that at least 50 people were detained in the country on February 27, including journalists.. Their whereabouts are unknown.

The agency posted a video on Facebook in which the security forces shoot at the demonstrators.
