Policemen are investigating the circumstances of the death of a man in the Shevchenko district of Kharkov. Currently, the identity of the deceased is being established. The Sirena police operation has been launched to detain persons involved in the crime.

The management and the investigative-operational group of the district police department left for the address. The police conduct an inspection of the scene, collect material evidence, identify and question witnesses.

According to the head of the investigative department of the GUNP in the Kharkiv region, Sergei Chizh, currently the police have identified the attacker. According to Chizh, the malefactor is a native of Kharkov born in 1981. Measures are being taken to arrest him.

Information about the event is included in the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations for h. 1 st. 115 (premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for from 7 to 15 years in prison.
